The Resort Municipality of Osoyoos, BC located in the beautiful South Okanagan Valley is accepting applications for the position of Student Park Ambassador.

Position Information

The Town of Osoyoos is currently looking for someone who loves the outdoors, interacting with people and is outgoing. If this sounds appealing, the Town of Osoyoos is currently accepting applications for a Seasonal Park Ambassador. This position interacts with residents and guests in Town parks and trails throughout Osoyoos.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to be mobile throughout the entire shift visiting the various parks and trails in the community. This position requires the successful candidate to be able to operate an e-bike.

This position is a Part-Time Seasonal unionized position. The hourly rate of pay is $21.11 per hour.

Osoyoos is situated in a unique and special environment that includes the warmest freshwater lake in Canada and the warmest annual temperature. It is Canada's only true desert with the lowest annual precipitation and Sonoran Desert flora and fauna. Surrounded by stunning vistas, beautiful vineyards, fabulous golf courses and other outdoor amenities it is an extraordinary area to visit, play in and live.

This position is being funded in conjunction with Human Resources and Skills Development Canada - "Canada Summer Jobs".
