EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Relief Landfill Weigh Scale Clerk Open Until Filled
The Town of Osoyoos in the beautiful South Okanagan Valley, is accepting applications for the position of Relief Landfill Weigh Scale Clerk.
Position Information
The Town of Osoyoos Operational Services Department is inviting applications for relief Landfill Weigh Scale Clerk. The successful applicant will be required to operate a scale house, monitor users and inspect loads, charge appropriate fees, collect payment, and educate the public on waste disposal practices.
The Preferred applicant will have some post-secondary education with some accounting or bookkeeping knowledge. Completion of a BC Qualified Landfill Operations course would be an asset.
This position is a part-time unionized position with the requirement to work flexible hours including weekends. The hourly rate is $25.09- $27.88 plus 15% in lieu of benefits.

It is Canada's only true desert with the lowest annual precipitation and Sonoran Desert flora and fauna.
