EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Relief Clerk/ Relief Program Assistant Deadline June 10 2022
The Resort Municipality os Osoyoos, BC located in the beautiful South Okanagan Valley is accepting applications for the position of Relief Clerk/ Relief Program Assistant.
Position Information
The Town of Osoyoos is seeking experienced, self-motivated individuals to provide relief administrative/ clerical coverage on a casual/on-call basis. Relief employees will cover for illness or vacation of permanent Town employees and will assist with special projects and assignments in different departments within the Town of Osoyoos organization.
These are CUPE bargaining unit positions and the rates of pay are $26.44 - $29.38 (Relief Clerk) and $20.04 - $22.27 (Relief Program Assistant) per hour plus 15% in lieu of benefits. Hours of work vary and may include evenings and weekend shifts. This position requires the flexibility to work with minimal notice.
Osoyoos is situated in a unique and special environment that includes the warmest freshwater lake in Canada and the warmest annual temperature. It is Canada's only true desert with the lowest annual precipitation and Sonoran Desert flora and fauna. Surrounded by stunning vistas , beautiful vineyards, fabulous golf courses and other outdoor amenities it is an extraordinary area to visit, play in and live.
