Tai Chi Classes for Beginners starting April 11

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that emphasizes health improvement rather than fighting. Taoist Tai Chi, a modified Yang style, is a sequence of 108 slow & graceful movements. It’s non-competitive and ideal for all levels of ability. Learning Tai Chi does not require over-exertion, but as one progresses, the heart rate increases to aerobic exercise levels. This class will introduce some basic foundation exercises as well as the first 17 moves. Please register in person at the Sonora Community Centre. Space is limited and the program may be cancelled if there are not enough participants registered prior to the start of the program.
