NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING



Public Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 7:00pm in the Town of Osoyoos Council Chambers, located at 8707 Main Street to consider the following amendment bylaws:

1) The purpose of Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1085.76, 2010, is to update the definitions of “Manufactured Home” and “Mobile Home” in the Town of Osoyoos Zoning Bylaw 1085, 1998.

2) The purpose of Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1086.78, 2010, is to add a new RSS-Single-Family Residential Strata Zone to the current list of zones within the Town of Osoyoos Zoning Bylaw 1085, 1998 and to have all mobile homes conforming in “Desert Rose Estates” Strata Lots 1-37, Strata Plan KAS 2452, District Lot 2450s, SDYD, located at 9410 - 115th by adding a site specific permitted use.

All persons will be given an opportunity to be heard and to present written submissions on the matter above. Written submissions can be mailed to the undersigned or emailed to tosoyoos@osoyoos.ca (the Town will only guarantee that emails received to this address will form part of the Council Agenda). The deadline for written submissions is 12:00pm Friday, September 17, 2010.

A copy of the amendment bylaws and accompanying documents may be inspected bt clicking here, or the Department of Planning and Development Services, located at 8711 Main Street from 8:00am to 4:00pm from Wednesday, September 8, 2010, to Monday, September 20, 2010, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
