Reports

  • Councillor King attended the Parks and Trails Master Plan and thanked the consultants and staff who put the presentation together.
  • Councillor Campol will be attending the Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre 10 year Anniversary.
  • Mayor McKortoff attended the Okanagan Basin Water Board Annual Meeting
  • Mayor McKortoff attended the South Okanagan Development Initiative Trust meeting.
  • Mayor McKortoff attended Lobster on the Beach that was put on by the Osoyooos Rotary and Thanked the Rotary for the excellent job hosting the wonderful event.
  • Mayor McKortoff attended a luncheon at the Osoyoos Seniors Centre and thanked all the volunteers for the events they put on for Seniors and Snowbirds.
  • Mayor McKortoff attended the Grand Opening for RONA with Councillor Campol.
  • Mayor McKortoff attended the Terry Fox Run which was held at the Sonora Centre.
  • Mayor McKortoff encouraged residents to attend the Public Meeting International Joint Commission for Osoyoos Lake AGM that will be held on September 20th at the Oroville Highschool.
  • Mayor and Council will be attending the UBCM Next week.

The public is encouraged to attend the Committee of the Whole meetings which take place in Council Chambers at 9:00 AM on the morning of the Regular Open Council meetings at 2:00 PM to learn additional in-depth information regarding upcoming business.
